  Q: Since the ministry of reconciliation is what the apostles preached, why don't JW's preach the same? Why the singular message on God's Kingdom and virtually noting about reconciling with God?

  can i ask please especially for all who are pomo?.

  we've taken a decision similar to revelation 18:4 to get out of the watchtower and not share in its sins.. how many of you still believe that god will one day terminate the world's many systems by means of an armageddon?.

  Isn't that were Jesus shows up as Savior and saves what is left of the world after the Anti-Christs' reign of terror?
  
  18 years out, the WT view seems so silly to me. In the dominant evangelical view, Christians won't be here on earth for this event, (having already been raptured), but rather they will be with Jesus upon his return to save the world. "unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved."

  Leaving JW - My own experience

  as some of you may know, i disassociated myself from wt$ last april.

  and i did it in the noisiest way i could find: i wrote my disassociation letter and made sure to send it to all elders of the two congregations in my town and to all jws whose email address i possessed.

  i knew this would bring loads of issues because my wife was in as well as our younger daughter.

  Not really. When you leave the WT, you start to find out that there is a whole set of language terms most everyone else knows....but you don't. Terms that are in widespread use among Christians of different flavors.

  isn`t 144000 human helpers a bit over the top ?

  Not when you consider there are 22 million people working in government jobs in the US. This is around 14% of the labor force and 7% of the total population.

  The reality is that the 144K are not part of the church age at all.The church isn't spoken of in the book of Revelation after chapter 3.

  The 144k are male Jewish virgins that appear to evangelize the world AFTER the rapture.

  The church is in heaven with Jesus at this point.

  15 years ago there were 5 congregations now there is only one and it is still struggling.

  congregations closing their doors doesn’t mean business is good.

  it looks like this last one to fold had no young witnesses, they either left the religion or moved.

  That's not important. The important thing is that the GB has indoor swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball courts, and doctors on staff in the infirmary within their lakeside resort. They also just purchased an additional 249 acres so they can play dress-up like ancients while video taping their delusions.

  Wash those toilets and windows you people of the great crowd; we need your money to prepare to run the world! You don't want to prove unfaithful do you? Hah, Hah, Hah, ha, ha, ha,

  Here is a science paper that not been refuted. It is by Dr. Sanford, a world renowned Cornell geneticist. In it he lays out the impossibility of mutations and natural selection to account for anything other than destruction.

  He had to have extremely liberal parameters (like population sizes and number of offspring) to get the evolution model to produce even one genetic word of 8 characters. His research shows that it takes 18 billion years (longer that the supposed age of the universe) to get even one 8 letter word from an unintelligent, naturally selected process.

  Of course, proteins require many, many genetic words to create a new protein. So, here we have real science by a world-renowned geneticist that shows the impossibility of mutations and natural selection to account for hardly any useful information from a scientific naturalism point of view.

  Dr. Sanford addressed the prestigious National Institutes of Health and presented his research in the video below. Time Stamp 20:00 is about where he delivers the conclusions. But, the whole video is very informative and explains why evolution cannot work from a genetic point of view..... which is what evolution is all about.

  For comparison, if you go to the SETI (Search for Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) website you'll find the following question:

  How do you know if you’ve detected an intelligent, extraterrestrial signal?

  Answer? "the existence of coded information on the signal"

  So, on one hand, scientific naturalists accept an intelligent source if they detect even one small coded message from radio waves emitting from space, But when confronted with the 1,206,980 printed pages of coded DNA information in the human genome, they say this is formed by an unintelligent combination of chance and natural selection, which has already been scientifically demonstrated to be impossible.

  So, how are regular people supposed to react when they see this breath-taking level of hypocrisy among scientific naturalists?

  Why would anyone who cares about truth want to adopt this kind of worldview that displays these kinds of thought regulations?
